Pride Hyundai of Lynn is seeking a full-time Cashier to work, Monday - Friday and all day on Saturdays at our Hyundai dealership.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Computes customer bills.
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
• Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
• Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise.

All returns / refunds MUST go through a manager.

• Reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Closes all open invoices.
• Include RO #’s when running credit cards
• Works with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered, their features and value and any changes in price.
• Answers customer questions about service performed or products purchased, or refers them to someone who can.
• Reconciles gas purchase statements.
• Provides clerical and administrative assistance to departments as needed.
• Assists service and parts departments with telephone coverage.
• Maintains a professional appearance.

Qualifications

Excellent listening / communication skills, outgoing and positive personality

Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and a dynamic work environment

Strong mathematical skills and general knowledge of accounting

Strong computer skills
